Jeb is a former Associate Director of Admissions at NYU School of Professional Studies, Director of JD Admissions at Columbia Law School, and Director of Operations and MBA Admissions Committee Co-Chair at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeb earned his B.A. summa cum laude in English literature and language from Marymount University and his M.A. in English literature at Boston College. He recently completed his Ed.D. in educational leadership at UCLA, where he was selected for the Outstanding Dissertation Award.

Jeb served as an adjunct English professor at two Boston-area colleges and honed his skills in teaching college writing. A career transition into higher education administration brought him to New York University’s School of Professional Studies. Starting as a graduate admissions officer, he ultimately served as Associate Director of Admissions. Jeb’s next chapter took him to Columbia Law School, where he served as the Director of JD Admissions. At Columbia, he stayed abreast on how to navigate the law school admissions landscape, curated dynamic incoming classes, and pioneered the interview program.

Following a brief stint in MBA and doctoral admissions at Harvard Business School, Jeb spent five years at The Wharton School’s MBA Admissions office as the Director of Operations and Co-Chair of the Admissions Committee.

Through these prior roles, Jeb has evaluated and rendered decisions on over 30,000 applications to some of the world’s most competitive graduate programs. With almost 20 years of selective graduate admissions experience, he knows firsthand the thoughtfulness and care that are required to prepare top-notch applications that stand out.

As a former writing instructor, Jeb loves working with students to perfect their personal statements. While he is a firm believer in some tough love during the writing process, he focuses on student growth and development. Jeb prioritizes understanding his students’ motivations for pursuing graduate studies, enabling him to help them express their passions and goals in the most compelling and cohesive manners. Working in concert with students, Jeb facilitates a process in which students feel confident, comfortable, and empowered to put forth the strongest applications possible.

Jeb lives in Southern California with his partner and schnoodle. In his spare time, he enjoys birding, baking, reading, pining for New York pizza, and yelling equally loudly at Jeopardy! and WNBA games.
