Tutor Profile
Natalie loves teaching and sharing her love of science and medicine, working individually with each student to tailor her teaching method to their needs. She specializes in preparing students for biology and chemistry courses and knows how challenging it can be to understand difficult concepts in science.
Natalie’s teaching style incorporates the learning techniques that she has studied in her coursework such as using visual aids and mnemonic devices to make large amounts of information easier to memorize. She wants her students not just to improve their grades in her class, but also to become better learners overall.
In addition to earning a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience at Northeastern University, Natalie has worked in both clinical and wet lab research settings. She has been included as an author on several academic journal articles and has a passion for encouraging young students to pursue scientific research.
Natalie is currently applying to medical school and will soon be starting a Fulbright Fellowship in public health in Sydney, Australia. In her spare time, she enjoys running, rock climbing, dancing, and reading.
